'Tis The Season

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa,  the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Winter solstice, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, or any other occasion this winter season, 'tis certainly the season for reflection, gratitude, love, and hopefully a splash of magic.

This season, I am grateful for so much.   I am grateful for the full heart that greets me when I wake in the morning.  I'm grateful for the able body that allows me to go about the day with relative ease.  I'm grateful for the twinkling of laughter that connects the dots of the day.  I'm grateful for a roof that contains the warmth and comfort of our home.  I'm grateful for the pantry that keeps us nourished.  I'm grateful for the magic that alights the Christmas tree and all the promise of Santa and his reindeer.   I'm grateful for the family that fills the rooms and all the history that connects us and keeps us together.   I'm grateful for time off.   I'm grateful for finding perfect presents.   I'm grateful for the amazing baked goods that are taking over my counter-top.  I'm grateful for cozy pjs.  I'm grateful for traditions.  I'm grateful for elves that work their magic while we sleep.   I'm grateful for magic.

My wish for you is that you too find much to be grateful for during this winter season.  May love wrap itself around you; may joy creep into your day; may your stomachs be filled with treats; and may the magic of the season delight and surprise you.

To You and Yours, I Wish You Happy Holidays, with Love...
